my love story

design origin

I took up Accountancy in first year of college. I wanted to be an accountant lawyer because I wanted to be rich. But after two semesters, I realized how much I hated it and did not want to continue that route and lifestyle.

I did, however, have a (mandatory) marketing subject in college where I met friends who had classes in photography, public relations, drawing, clay sculpture, etc. I tried attending a class in photo manipulation where Photoshop was taught, and it clicked what I really want to do with my life: art and design.

Since then, I've never strayed away from design. All the internships (advertising agencies), permanent jobs (all over different fields), side jobs (event organizer, invitation-maker) and even hobbies (photography, sewing, writing, reading, singing) I've had are all art and design-related. I like that I see my actual work that I made being enjoyed or appreciated. I like making and seeing beautiful things. I like arranging things into something that makes sense.

My heart is, and will always be, in design and art.

I saw someone said online before: How amazing it is that when rich people are asked what they want to do, it's often art-related. It's nice to think that when earning money is not an issue, that's where we all turn to: making art.
