Pottyhead – Merkevarebygging
Branding
I worked on the branding for Pottyhead, a startup business selling potted plants during the pandemic. My goal was to create a brand identity that was playful, minimalistic, and memorable while reflecting the company’s core products.
For the logo, I designed several key elements: the “O” features a shoulder to signify a head, and the three splash-like shapes on each side represent paint splashes from the pots, while also doubling as seeds, symbolizing the start of a plant’s growth. The color palette uses blue-green tones to reflect the natural colors of leaves, emphasizing the brand’s connection to plants.
I also created a handwritten, minimalistic typography that balances the playful elements while allowing the logo and visual details to stand out. Beyond the logo, I designed the first set of social media posts, the paper bag packaging, and merchandise, ensuring a cohesive look across all touchpoints and establishing a consistent tone for the brand’s visual identity.
